LGBT+ communities have seen huge change over the last century, and especially in the past decade, across politics, society and culture.

In the UK, LGBT+ History Month has been marked every February since 2005, celebrating our communities’ stories, recognising unsung heroes, and reflecting on the events that shaped where we are today.

At the North Somerset LGBT+ Forum, our trustees and volunteers support LGBT+ History Month each year through online campaigns, public events and creative activities. This section of our website brings those projects together, so LGBT+ history can be explored all year round.
