Our communities have come a long way in the last hundred years - in fact, things have changed drastically in the last decade alone. Be it politically, socially, or culturally, our community has experienced countless ups and downs over the years. Since 2005, the United Kingdom has celebrated LGBT+ History Month every February, raising awareness of the unsung heroes of our communities and commemorating the events of yesteryear that have brought us to where we are today.

Here at the North Somerset LGBT+ Forum, our trustees and volunteers contribute annually to LGBT+ History Month through online campaigns, public events and creative activities. This part of our website brings together the efforts of our team over the years, and provides a space for LGBT+ history to be enjoyed throughout the year.
